Agronômica marks two decades of pioneering phytosanitary diagnostics, driven by people, expertise, and a steadfast commitment to plant health.
Agronômica´s journey began in 2006, when it became the first private laboratory in Brazil accredited by the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) for the detection and diagnosis of pests in import and export shipments. This milestone was not defined by infrastructure, but by the courage and commitment of the people who believed in this vision from the very beginning.
Since then, Agronômica has built a trajectory that speaks for itself:
- More than 14,000 clients served
- Over 430,000 samples analyzed
- More than 1,300,000 tests performed
Today, Agronômica stands as a national reference in phytosanitary diagnostics. The company identifies over 800 regulated pests and more than 1,500 types of quarantine pests. In addition, it holds accreditation for over 550 pests, operating across all stages of the agribusiness production chain.
In 2022, Agronômica entered a new chapter by becoming part of the Cotecna Group, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification. This milestone further strengthened its mission to promote plant health and contribute to Brazil’s food security.
However, none of these achievements would have been possible without the people behind Agronômica. Every analysis, every diagnosis, and every precise result reflects the dedication, expertise, and excellence of a multidisciplinary team deeply committed to its work.
Agronômica is not defined by walls or equipment, it is defined by its people.
The company extends its gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey and to those who continue to write its story. 💚
